The male choir sang in the Lignum Crucis in the After of Good Friday, April 2, 2010. After the Veneration of the Cross or Lignum Crucis, everybody joined the procession.

Male Choir Good Friday Activity: WATER DISTRIBUTION

On Good Friday the Male Choir were distributing free drinking water with candies and biscuits to those who joined the VIA CRUCIS!

Male Choir Holy Thursday 2010 Activities

The SVF Male Choir finds joy in serving God and serving others.

Last Holy Thursday, April 01, 2010 the SVF Male Choir sang in the Holy Mass at 4pm. Every Holy Thursday the Catholic Church is commemorating the Institution of the First Holy Mass and the washing of feet of Apostles. Right after the mass, the exposition of the Holy Eucharist followed. Then the vigil followed which lasted up to 12 midnight. While the vigil was going-on, some people were having their Visita Iglesia, Via Crucis and confession.

After the Holy Mass and the Exposition, the Male Choir started their new apostolate, "serving free coffee" to everyone within the church premises which was dubbed as "LIBRENG KAPE SA HUWEBES SANTO".

Male Choir's Mañanita Activities

One of the Male Choir's Activities is to serenade the members during his birthday, it is called Mañanita.

During Jimox' birthday, we came to his house to serenade him and to celebrate his biirthday. In old times, those who will serenade the birthday celebrant will also bring food so that after the serenade or Mañanita they will celebrate the birthday and eat the food.

Now in modern times, it is the birthday celebrants who will prepare foods.
